Bravo hit a six of the last ball to win the crucial game for CSK at Eden Gardens. With this win Chennai team maintain their winning march against top teams of IPL 2012. With 9 runs needed of the last over, KKR bowler Rajat Bhatia had things in control till the last ball of the game but in the end it was bravo six which sealed the game in favor of the visitors.

With both teams starting well, but loosing the momentum in the middle over’s the game was well balanced till the last over. Dhoni though has not scored much runs, his 3 boundaries in 19th over of Marchant de Lange, reduced the required runs in last over. But dhoni was out in the second bowl of last over and it was left to Bravo and Jadeja to finish the game.

Earlier after losing the toss, Kolkata started well and looked like they will be setting up a big total. Captain Gambhir and Brendon McCullum added 99 run 12 overs before both the batsmen got out and KKR lost 5 wickets quickly.  CSK bowlers pounced on the new batsmen on the crease and except bad umpiring decision of Kallis, others were out in the process of acceleration.  Some late assault saved KKR to set up a respectable total of 158 runs.

Needing 159 runs to win, the visitors too started well in flurry of boundaries and sixes. Openers Michael Hussey and Vijay added 97 runs before Sunil Narine got the openers in the 11th over to give the match momentum back to host.  Suresh Raina soon departed and the asking rate started to mount. L balaji recovered from earlier expensive overs to give away 2 runs in 14th over while next over produced only five runs. The pressure was mounting on the visitors and home team was going for a kill to win the match.

Another wicket (Faf du Plessis) was gone in 18th over and CSK needed 27 runs in 12 balls. Captain cool was on the crease and he smashed Marchant de Lange in the 19th over turning the momentum of match back into the visitors favor. But the 20th over was the decisive over and bravo rose to the occasion to seal the win for CSK.

With the win CSK are on 4th position in the points table and KKR on 3rd place. KKR have lost two matches in a row at home. Gambhir and Co will surely need to checkmate their opponents and get back their winning momentum.
