Senthil Kumar, If u think of it that way.If he truly is GOD he shouldnt be getting old right? He should be hitting every ball for a six right? He should score century in every match right? He should not wear helmets for protection also right?. After all he is GOD...

In India it is believed that cricket is a RELIGION and if cricket is a religion then SACHIN is a CRICKETING GOD. Here in india one could see that young ones play cricket in parks,roads,grounds anywhere they get a chance and if one could ask them who their idol is ? The ans will be one and only TENDULKAR.So in INDIA he is TERMED AS A GOD .

Sachin is the God of cricket. It doesnt matter if India has won a world cup when he is playing for india or Mumbai indians winning IPL T20. all that matters is the way he adapts to the game. He can play any form of cricket. Even at the age of 36, the way he adapted himself with T20, no words to describe it. He is still doing his best and contributing as much as he can do for Indian cricket, even after suffering from hell a lot of health problems. I dont think there will be another player to over take his records that he created. He entered international cricket at the age of 16 and still in his best form in the game of cricket, the number of match winning knocks he gave us etc etc etc.He holds the maximum number of 100 as well as 90s. Just imagine where his record would have hit when those 90s were converted to 100s. No matter if he holds the orange cap or what ever. He is the DON of cricket and there can not be the slightest doubt in it..!!

At 16, he debuted for India, and is today the only batsman ever to have been compared with Sir Donald Bradman universally, including by Bradman himself.
In the religion of cricket Sachin is the God. But in life, he is a human being and no exception making mistakes. Few down falls doesnt reduce his glory..!
To be on the other side, even god makes mistakes else there wouldn't be evil at all..

So i say again, the owner of the thread just mentioned Sachin as GOD of cricket So dont go too sentimental with it, taking real life into account.

i totally agree wid u buddy, d feeling is same, n just ignore d kind of people who says "If Sachin was God he should be holding the Orange cap & Mumbai should have won all the matches till now."coz a team consist of 11 players n a player cant win d mathc,though of late in couple of games he dint petform well,i believe he'surely b bcak wid a bang,n thnx buddy 4 dis topic 4 d sachin fans like us, keep going...........
