Parveen Kumar started off the proceedings brilliantly for Kings XI. Only 11 off first three overs, things were in the control of Kings XI. Du Plessis smacked Kumar over long on to break the shackles. After that it was same old story for du Plessis. Du Plessis hit three four in first Awana over as du Plessis threaten to run with the show. Du Plessis lost his wicket in getting too excited against Chawala. Mahmood continued his great bowling form and bowled some excellent overs in pressure situation. Some tight overs brought the down fall of Badrinath who tried to clear the fence against Mahmood but was deceived by a slow delivery. Wicket of Badrinath brought back kings XI right back into the game. Both Raina and Saha tried to get themselves in after two quick wickets. Chawala foxed Raina beautifully in the flight to get him stumped. Chawala impressed one and all with improved control in this season and Raina's horror run of form continued this season. New to crease Jadeja showed some aggression from the word go. Hussey played a masterstroke of a move by bringing himself on in the attack, it paid off quickly with the wicket of Saha. Saha really never looked comfortable and played across to straight one and ended up chopping one on the stumps. With seven overs remaining, the match hanged in the balance with CSK needing 70. Dhoni failed to be the man to cease the win this around for the Super Kings as he ran himself out. Jadeja held the keys as consist fall of wickets held CSK back but Jadeja failed to read the googly of Chawala. He swung against the turn to the googly and top edged an easy catch to Hussey. Bravo and Morkel were the only hopes after the crucial wicket of Jadeja. It was not easy to hit out Mamood with his clever changes of pace. Bravo spoiled the Kumar over with a six late in the over. All the sealers of Kings XI were trying to bowl full and search for the yorkers. Awana bowled excellent 17th over against two of most dangerous hitters in IPL. Kumar's thrashing continued as Bravo turned the heat. Bravo mishit one over mid wicket and got out. It came to last over once more this season, 17 needed of last over. Mahmood got Morkel of first bowl to seal the game for Kings XI. It really was loin hearted performance from Kings XI to win the game after scoring not enough on the board. It was Chawala and Mahmood really which made the difference.

You gotta love how Kings Punjab XI have been playing recently. They refuse to give up and probably deserve a better record than they have!

Punjab team rise is good for the competition. IPL is becoming more interesting

I felt foe them on the other day in Mohali against Mumbai, they should have won. Mahmood's inclusion is big plus for them.

kings XI definitely won the hearts of fans by their fighting spirit
