It is refreshing to see a discussion where someone feels proud of their team for winning and describing the circumstances around it than just using the win to run cheap taunts at Indians. Congratulations, and the way your team raised their standard for important games, they deserved to win and what makes it historic and more sweeter than your 1992 victory (although cricket talent wise I still think 1992 team was better and more relevant) is the circumstances Pakistan finds itself psychologically with the terrorist attacks that are going on and the people displaced from their homes and all. It is a sweet pill for your nation and I think it did rightfully lift the spirit of many. Enjoy it because your country deserved it.

It was great to see pakistan winning this edition of the T20 world cup. i think pakistan really deserved this victory. They played great cricket,and during really testing times in their country they have given something for their countrymen to feel proud about. They say sport unites a nation in a real bad time...infact this victory gave joy to everyone not only in pakistan but everywhere in the world. Really well played Pakistan.....m not a pakistani but seriosly it was heartening to see you guys win...cheers
