Symonds is not part of Australia's 16-man squad for the Ashes series. He broke team rules which were not so serious to cut the guy out. What do you guys think about it?

I admire him as he is one among others who brought us (DC) IPL2 cup. He is a legendary player and a good team player.

I don't know for sure, but there is definetly some kind of politics prevailing inside australian cricket !

I mean, how else can you justify the early retirement of hayden, gilly and mcgrath. These guys have a lot, repeat a lot of cricket left in them !!!
It show about your cricketing knowledge,do you think that Asutralian management and selector are stupid. This is the diffrence of vision of subcontinent.
To get drunk the night before and miss team practice next morning is serious enough. Unlike in Pakistan, where even drug cheats are let off sooner or later, it is good to see CA taking strict action. We must not criticise the punishment even if we all know what an invaluable cricketer Symonds is. He is a genius but goes off the tangent too often; its a team sport and discipline is paramount.
Australian Team down with absence of Symonds. without Symonds experiene they cant do well in T20
Sarma is it your wrong thinking. Australia is capable to produce a 2nd eleven team which can complete on international level.
i think.. india is more capable...for that
Yes Vineeth India is also capable but only for T20. For 50 overs ODIs or test matches forget about.
Australia! Second team!!
Yeah sure, that too when they can't pitch one team who knows wat this format is all about with a captain who everytime comes out to bat thinking what to do, stays a couple of balls, then gets out and goes back still not getting it right.

But not bad! They beat Pakistan recently with the same team.
Even legendary player like Symond not allowed to breack rule set by team Australia and ICC. He righty kicked off. Some teams are may me happy to see Symond out of Australian team. No player is invalueable for any team even great Sachin tendulker.Player come and go but Game must go on.
Symonds being sent back before the first match may be due to racial discrimination. Aussies are quite capable of that. It cannot be ruled out.
Last seen in a London pub; Symonds carrying an axe in his hand.
He deserves to go home!!

Not in ashes, not in WC T20 squad - just because of his poor attitude. Fishing may be good profession for him as he went for that instead of attending the team meeting some time before.

Its time now for IPL to take some action for his attitude in final match of IPL2.....no indian will wish to have him to get such a bad culture into our young cricketers...

When CA has doesnt want him, Y in IPL? (IPL being considered the indian domestic tournament)
