well the prediction didnt happen and last prediction also wont , it would be WI vs Sri. it will make laugh i can guarantee this time it would be a new champion.
South Africa and India, hey! It's certainly is possible, but the Proteas will first have to deal with Sri Lanka, and they are notoriously difficult customers, especially in the limited overs game. They have a bowling attack that is second to none, matching that of South Africa player for player and their batting is excellent, with the likes of Tillikiratne Dilshan in its midst. India also matches South Africa, player for player . . . It is quite impossible to predict a winner. The winner will be the team that playes the very best T20 cricket on that very day of the final. As far as talent, ALONE, is concerned, any one of the big shots (New Zealand, South Africa, Sri lanka, West Indies, with the possible only exception of Pakistan, this time around, in my humble opinion) have the ability to win this tournament. Talent alone is not going to be enough . . . the winning team will have to have something extra. As a Protea supporter, I desperately hope and want to believe that this team have that something extra, in general, and especially on that day when it will count most. My 4 all time favourite T20 players are Johan Botha (S.A.), Tillikiratne Dilshan (the Tildil, Sri Lanka), A.B. de Villiers (S.A.) and J.P. Dominee (S.A.), but if I absolutely have to choose only 1 of these 4, it will have to be Johan Botha, whom I believe is a match winner, all on his own. If this guy have an excellent match in the final (if the Proteas make it there, which I hope they do), I think South Africa will win. He has the ability to take 4 wickets in 4 overs, for something less than 25 runs. There are very good T20 players, but this guy is something special. Well, this is my bit. Thanks for reading. You can do it, Proteas. I will cheer you on!
Respectfully yours,
Mayan Viljoen.
