"Things have run out as expected. Rahul Dravid is in the squad for the triseries and the CT. Hopefully R Dravid justifies the faith the selectors have placed in him."

"While not many will question Ganguly's leadership, doubts regarding his ability in the 20-20 format will remain. Wright's appointment as coach is a constructive step."

Ajmer Singh Bains replied to Ajmer Singh Bains's discussion Pakistan to Win the Last Test
"Very disappointing! That Pakistan couldn't make a headway is understandable, but Sri Lanka's refusal to go for a win is beyond comprehension. They played as though they were waiting for a buffalo to come out of water. This is the kind of…"

"After-effects of the crippling Pakistan defeat seem to have spilled over to the second test. They cannot have turned into a poor team in a matter of a few days and need to reorganize quickly."

"71-2 on day 3 lulled Pak into thinking the match was done and dusted. Even after Pak took 50 run first innings lead I had warned them not to let it go to their head as they were to play the 4th innings and Galle pitch could throw up some unusual…"

"Last night there was a lot of debate on a BBC forum about this very topic; whether Dravid should be recalled to no. 3 slot. I too participated. The owner of the thread was dead against Dravid's inclusion. His argument was that it was a backward…"

"Celebrate, yes whole heartedly. Constructive criticism should always be welcome. Second ODI loss mainly due to Dhoni misreading the pitch. Same pitch a day before produced big scores from both sides. Any captain could have gone wrong. Had Gayle won…"

"Second ODi loss was crushing. Good to see that even from a depleted selection, India found the resource to overcome the setback and magnificently prolong their overseas winning run. Dhoni may now opt for some well deserved rest."

Ajmer Singh Bains replied to Raj's discussion After the "Fun Cricket" now it is some serious ones!! - Can India win this series?????????? Cannot lose series from here.....
"You can be glad that Dhoni did not do a Collingwood, that is choose to bat first on a rainy day, as the England captain did against the WI in the T20 WC. D/L may be flawed but it still needs to be respected until it is replaced. Smarter Dhoni may…"

Why I love the IPL
It is pushing the cricket boundaries up and outward. It is saluting real talent. It is bringing the cricketing world closer together. It is breaking international and language barriers and providing cricketers and aficionados to see beyond petty jealousies. You want more?

Recently the 'Super Over'. Earlier the captaincy skills of Shane Warne.

1. A Gilchrist, 2. S. Warne, 3. V. Sehwag, 4. Tendulkar, 5. Dhony, 6. Yuvraj,… Continue
